Pecuron world

We know,What U think..

We have heard our parents talk about the days when 50 paise could buy so many things or how they used to treasure a few annas to buy a bagful of goodies.I remember how my neighbour's young daughter, madhumitha parvathi ,had not one but three piggy banks. One in green, labelled 'save, another blue 'spend' and the third, a pink one had the words 'give'.What a delightful way to understand money!

Spend right

Everyone needs money to buy what they want.Do you get pocket money from your parents? If you do then you must be spending on fast food, soft drinks, clothing, gifts, mobile recharges coupons, computer games or movies. If you do not,it can be a fascinating way to buy some things which you want to buy or do and to learn about money, with your parents.

Your parents can help you understand complex concepts related to personal finance as well.Asked them questions about how they manage their money-what do they consider the most important things to spend on??How do they borrow from the bank??And so on.

Ask your parents if you could do some small tasks around the house.Maybe you can earn some money by this. You may not be paid for every tasks you do but it is a good way to be productive around the house.Do not borrow money.Discuss with your parents their reasons if they consider stopping or reducing your pocket money.

Remember, pocket money is only one of the fun ways to learn about concepts of money at this age.
