Typically,most school and college youths are so time constrained that they never get a chance to eat a proper breakfast.But in the bargain,what suffers is your nutrition intake,which needs to be balanced for optimal growth,development and academic performance.
Suggestion for a 'fueling' breakfast:
- Whole grain cereal/muesli with low-fat milk,boiled egg and a glass(8 oz) of fresh orange juice.
- Bowl of oats porridge with sultanas/dates and a cup of moong sprouts.
- Whole wheat toast+one sliced banana+a cup of low-fat yogurt.
- Two moong-chana dal cheelas with yogurt and coriander chutney.
- A couple of whole wheat chappatis+a cup of steamed sprouts and a glass of low-fat milk.
- Boiled egg salad on a whole wheat toast with a sliced tomato and a glass of low-fat milk.
